John established the company over 20 years ago and has built his business to over 70 staff. As a Qualified Electrical Inspector, John has moved into specialist areas within the business such as estimating, design and client liaison.
When he’s not heading the team, John spends time with family, fishing, and enjoying music or his classic motorbikes.

Kerry Marie Callander

Business Manager
Kerry Marie oversees the Sales / Marketing, Administration, HR, and PR aspects of the company. She has been with Callander Electrics for over three years.
Just as busy in her own time, Kerry Marie enjoys time with family and friends, running, netball coaching, fishing, boats and writing poetry – a book is waiting in the wings to be published.

Paul Fredrick

Contracts Manager
With a background as an experienced Project Manager, Paul is both well known and well-respected in the electrical industry.
As Contracts Manager, Paul manages all resources required for projects as well as project managing selected jobs.
Paul enjoys spending time with family as well as street motorbikes which keep him occupied in his spare time.

Peter Boersen

Project Manager
Peter started out as a foreman over 16 years ago and has been Project Manager at Callander for over ten years, sometimes organising teams of twenty-plus electricians depending on the size of the project.
He is well-known and respected in the industry. Peter enjoys leisure time spent with family and friends.

Pat Anelay

Project Manager
Pat was recently promoted from foreman to project manager and also looks after and organises teams on various projects. He has been with the company for around nine years and has an excellent reputation in the industry.
Pat is a keen family man, runs marathons and like many of the team, enjoys a spot of fishing.

Frank joined the company in 2010, and has been in the electrical industry for over 30 years, specialising in flameproof installs, commercial and industrial installations and maintenance contracts.
Frank is married with five children. His hobbies include golf, fishing and watching his children play sport.

Chris Schoeman

Estimator
Chris joined the company in 2008, he has been an electrician for 15 years, ten of which have been in NZ. He was a site forman and has now moved to the estimation department.
Chris is married with two children and enjoys as much leisure time with them as possible. When ever he can he enjoys a vigourous game of squash.

Accountant
Nicola joined the team in June this year and is proving to be a very valuable member of Callanders. Nicola has worked in the construction industry for many years and is a perfect addition to Callander Electrics. Nicola has a business degree with a major in accounting.
Outside of work Nicola enjoys spending time with her family and in the outdoors.

Niven Price

Quantity Surveyor
Niven is a NZ Registered Electrician and has been a Quantity Surveyor since 2007 which he studied in London for. Niven started at Callanders in June and is cost managing the larger Callander projects.
Outside of work Niven likes to snowboard, wakeboard, play club rugby and likes to restore classic cars.
