Callander Control is located in Morningside, Auckland.  We have a staff of over 16, which includes a Management team of four.

 

John Callander

Managing Director 

John established the callander electrics over 20 years ago and has built his business to over 90 staff. John established Callander Control in 2011 to seperate the E4M division from Callander Electrics which is primeraly an Electrical contracting company.    

As a Qualified Electrical Inspector, John has moved into specialist areas within the business such as estimating, design and client liaison.

When he’s not heading the team, John spends time with family, fishing, and enjoying music or his classic motorbikes.

Kerry Marie Callander
Callander Control

Business Manager 

Kerry Marie oversees the Sales / Marketing, Administration, HR, and PR aspects of the Callander Group of companies. Kerry has been with Callander Electrics since 2007.

 

Just as busy in her own time, Kerry Marie enjoys time with family and friends, running, netball coaching, fishing, boats and writing poetry – a book is waiting in the wings to be published.

Dean Walter
Callander Control

General Manager

Dean has been with Callander Electrics since 1991, Dean is responsible for running Callander Control (Our Electrical for Mechanical and building automation division).  Dean feels very passionate about E4M as this was our core business for many years before Callander Electric became mostly an electrical contracting company.

Dean is a qualified Electrical Engineer and has vast experience with Building Management Systems, Air-Conditioning Systems, Electrical for Mechanical Design and Project Management, IT Management and CAD Drafting.

Dean programs and oversees all our Reliable controls projects and has been on reliable controls advanced training courses in Brisbane, Australia.

Dean, in 1995 represented New Zealand in the 33rd International Youth Skill Olympics "Mechatronics Skill" in Lyon, France.  This skill included mechanical pneumatic installation, pneumatic and PLC wiring, programming, and comprehensive fault finding all within competition time frames.

In his spare time, Dean spends time with his young family, golfing, fishing and enjoys playing indoor cricket.

Bruce Blundell
Callander Control

Project Manager

Bruce has a wealth of electrical for mechanical knowledge and has been in the industry for many years. Bruce has been a foreman for many years and now is steping up to run projects using this knowledge, Bruce organises our Controls team of ten-plus electricians depending on the size of the project.

Bruce is well-known and respected in the industry. 

In his spare time, Bruce enjoys fishing and playing Social Rugby.
